Got Milk?

Another great article by Jason Ferruggia, that will make you think before you drink your next glass of cold milk.

macdanzig.jpgMany of you know by now that dairy is not good for getting lean. Others probably know that the consumption of dairy products has been linked to a decreased immune system response.

But there may be a few things about milk that you don’t know.

Before you have another glass of milk or consider chugging another whey or casein shake or loading an extra slice of cheese on your sandwich you should know that most of us are lactose intolerant to some degree.

All human beings can handle lactose as babies. Most of us lose this ability as adults. The majority of adults have some level of lactose intolerance. It is not a rarity but rather the normal state for fully grown adults; we simply don’t need milk anymore.

I am confused a little. You never really explained what was bad about milk besides lactose intolerance. I actually have heard as well though that milk was not as good as the commercials stated. It was the lobbiests in Washington for the farmers that made those.

I will have to do some research, but interesting post all the same because milk can be one of the greatest fakers.

    Hi Dan,

I found the article written by Jason to be very interesting. It is his opinion that I for the most agree with.

Definitely do some research, you will find like I did that cows milk is not very good for you, goats milk is much better for you to digest. There is a lot of money here in Canada and Ontario pushing the health benefits of milk, but how true are these ads.

    Cheers,
    Darryl
