What a workout

Good morning friends, I just wanted to give you a little update on my quest to find my six pack abs. I was in the gym both Sunday and last night (Tuesday) and had two great workouts. I managed to set some new personal bests in both workouts including:

  • Dumbbell Flat Press: 2 sets of 10 at 65lbs
  • Barbell Squats: 2 sets of 10 at 275lbs
  • Push-ups: 2 sets of 20 reps
  • Dumbbell Rows: 2 sets of 10 at 75lbs
  • NEW: Burpee/Chin-ups: 10. I added these for conditioning after I saw them on Jason Ferruggia’s blog. If you’re looking for something that will challenge you and possibly make you puke, this is it.

I can’t wait to be back in the gym tomorrow (Thursday), to surpass my personal bests again. What’s the point of going to the gym if you are not increasing what you do each time? Whether you lift more weight or add more reps, it doesn’t matter, always push yourself beyond what you did in your last workout
