A Week Off, Sort Of

Well this week started off with my allergies giving me a sore upper chest with an annoying cough. Because of this I decided it would be best to take a recovery week from the gym before starting my next program (Turbulence Training Big 5). With not being in the gym, I’m doing some light exercise everyday at home with my exercise bands and bodyweight. I’ve also taken the time to develop my nutrition plan for the next 4 to 8 weeks. As many of you know, following my meal plan is always the hardest thing for me to do. It’s my weakness, food that is. I like to eat, and as I slip I go to less and less healthy foods. Well back to eating healthy again. Shopping for groceries around the outer loop (produce, meat, dairy) and avoiding the aisles of processed crap. It’s still crap even if they slap it with a Health Check or Heart and Stroke logo (read the ingredients, do you see Glucose Fructose? Probably). So I spent tonight cooking up my meals for while I’m at work and I’m gonna try to eat 8 small meals a day.

Time to get shredded, and eating right is the piece of the puzzle I’m missing.
